Alrighty then, we’re back for another exciting adventure here on the Chaotic Navigator podcast. I am Murphy Ganz, the Alaska Outlaw and today I’d like to talk about National Preparedness Awareness Month!! Each year, the crazy-good folks at ready.gov highlight a month dedicated to arming the citizens with the knowledge to keep themselves healthy and safe during natural disasters.
Before we get after it today, I’d like to make sure that, for those of you who need peace and harmony, or help in making sense of life, be sure to check out the Alaskan Ulfhednar podcast at https://akulfhednar.com. After 30 years of spiritual searching and discovery, he has arrived home. Check out his theories of finding peace and harmony, with a true understanding of co-existence and universal love. Some great stuff for you there.
In addition, just a friendly suggestion for my fellow Anchorage citizens, I’ve recently had a GREAT experience recycling my old electronics here in town. A great option for you is Total Reclaim, who dismantles the electronics and recycles most of the devices to take better care of our planet. At .35 per pound, they offer a great solution for us to rid ourselves of those old electronics, give them a call at 907-561-0544 and instead of using the landfill for those old computers, do the planet a favor and recycle.
Each week we look at a different facet of what being prepared looks like in the real world of everyday. It is absolutely awesome to be back with you guys here for another adventure of discovery and obtaining the super power of common sense. Today I want to put a new lens on the old eyeballs and look at the topics with a different perspective.
We, like many other groups throughout the world, are highlighting a month of getting, and staying prepared for what Mother Earth may throw at us. By looking at the many different necessities that each citizen has, we are better prepared to offer suggestions and information about getting the right resources together to form a working solution.
Segment 1.- In the first segment we’re going to discuss the why. By addressing the general idea of keeping it in the forefront of our minds by preparing for the winter months. The folks at ready.gov are helping us all get the right things together to keep us safe.
Segment 2. - in the second segment we’ll get in and discuss what does this really mean in the big picture of things? We’ll discuss some of the ideas that we need to embrace to ensure our family’s safety and secure.
Segment 3 - Finally, id like to talk about the things that we can be prepared for ahead of time by embracing the underlying doctrine of being prepared, we can assist in making our communities the best they can be.
